Workshops & Writing Coaching
You specify your writing needs – I teach you skills for a lifetime.
Are you a graduate student needing to learn how to edit and proofread your own writing? A business leader with employees who need a refresher on effective writing? Or a college student struggling to reach a writing bar that has suddenly been raised far above the high school level?
Leaving the university and college classroom after a few decades of teaching language- and writing-related courses left me with accumulated knowledge just waiting to be passed on. I love creating a learning environment where learners feel comfortable, affirmed, and enthused about grammar and writing. “Why didn’t we learn this in the third grade?” was a question I heard every term while teaching grammar to college students.
As a consultant in post-secondary writing centers, I worked with individual students and small groups on writing and learning issues. Sometimes students arrived needing help with structuring scattered ideas into a coherent outline. Others came with a first draft needing serious polishing, and some had specific grammar or writing questions. They always left with knowledge and strategies that would serve them for a lifetime of writing, no matter what genre or topic.
If you need individual coaching or would like a group workshop tailored to your writing needs, let’s talk. Contact me to discuss the details so we can agree on an appropriate rate for your requirements.
